A student fell to her death while posing for a photograph at Seven Sisters Cliff, a scenic spot in southern England, on Thursday, June 22, 2017.
The victim, named Hyewon Kim, 23, came to the UK to study English and took a trip to Cuckmere Haven, East Sussex, alone.
She asked a group of South Korean tourists, who she didn’t know, to take her picture, but as she jumped in the air for the shot she lost her footing and fell 60m to her death.
Signs warning about the instability of the cliffs are in place approaching the area. The day before the incident, there had been a severe rock fall at the same location.
