A young woman has died after being hit by a train while taking a selfie on a railroad track in Foshan, China in April, 2016.
The 19-year-old student, whose name was not reported, was visiting a rose garden in Liantang village, which is a popular spot among tourists, when the tragedy occurred.
Other tourists in the area took a photo which showed the teenager, dressed in a blue skirt and white top, posing in front of the camera as the train approaches behind her.
She reportedly wanted to capture the passing train in the background, and ignored blaring horns from the locomotive and warnings from people around her.
