Boy critically wounded after accidentally shooting himself

A teenager in Batangas, Philippines has been forced to return to hospital after being treated for accidentally shooting himself while trying to take a ‘gun selfie’ because the incident has altered his personality, his family claim.

On June 18th of 2014, the unnamed 15-year-old boy had borrowed a pistol from his uncle, and posed for a picture with the weapon pointing at his head.

ABS-CBNNews.com reports that the teenager got confused and pulled the trigger of the gun rather than the button on his camera, with the bullet entering his head through his nose.

The teenager spent a month in intensive care before he was discharged, however last week he was re-admitted to hospital after his family claimed his personality changed and he was ‘staring blankly and talking to himself’.
